Business executives and technology leaders are under pressure to separate AI signal from AI noise, and that is the core problem this publication is built to help with.

About Me

Hi, I’m Arbindo Chattopadhyay.

I work at Microsoft, where I’ve spent 16+ years helping business and technology leaders turn “what if” ideas into solutions that actually ship and scale, from the early evolution of Microsoft Teams to today’s AI‑powered content and knowledge platforms.

By day, I build and scale enterprise AI and Modern Work initiatives, working across product, engineering, partners, and the field to move organizations from experimentation to real business impact.

By temperament, I’m a continuous learner—curious about how technology, strategy, and human behavior intersect. And outside of work, I’m a photographer, which keeps me grounded in observation, framing, and the discipline of seeing what others miss.

These perspectives shape how I think about AI and leadership.

Who This Is For

This newsletter is written for business executives and technology decision makers who are navigating questions like:

  • Where does AI create real enterprise value today?

  • How do you scale adoption without creating risk, chaos, or resistance?

  • What separates organizations that experiment from those that lead?

I’ve worked closely with leaders facing these challenges across industries, and I’ve seen what works, what stalls, and what quietly fails.

What I Write About

Here, I share:

  • Practical AI strategy for enterprise and Modern Work

  • Lessons from the front lines of adoption—beyond vendor decks and hype

  • Product and platform thinking for scaling AI responsibly

  • Clear, experience‑based perspectives on where AI is actually heading

No buzzword bingo. No “AI will fix everything” takes. Just useful insights drawn from real systems, real constraints, and real decisions.

How I Think About AI

I believe AI should be:

  • Demystified, not glorified

  • Secure and trustworthy by design

  • A shared advantage—not a capability reserved for a few

The organizations that win won’t be the loudest or the fastest—they’ll be the ones that learn continuously and execute deliberately. I call them frontier firms.

If you’re responsible for shaping strategy, technology decisions, or transformation at scale—and you want thinking grounded in experience rather than hype—you’re in the right place.
